System Migration and data transfer from platform to platform

Changing from System to System can be difficult, whether it be one cms platform to another, one (or many) databases to a different structure or from one hosting provider to another, challenges abound.

We have done this many times, transferring data from one format to another can be tricky and time consuming but if done methodically, will result in no data loss and hopefully, depending on the system you transfer to, easier access and cross referencing. After all,what is the point of making a transfer if not to improve the results?
